Warrington LIFE training (previously called the Brighter Futures team) focuses on delivering training to young who aren’t in education or employment, as well as vulnerable or disadvantaged adults across Warrington.
We offer flexible training designed around what you need. One of our key strengths is how we can adapt our training for different groups and ages.
Some of the courses we’ve run are:
- ‘Building Confidence’ was designed for young people with specific issues relating to anxiety or depression
- ‘Eat Well, Spend Less’ helps older learners find out more about healthy eating, food hygiene, health and safety in the kitchen and living on a budget
- ‘Young Parents’ includes options of a Level 1 award in Customer Service and/or a Level 2 award in Food Safety while covering basic first aid, healthy relationships, mental health and wellbeing, life skills, budgeting, drugs and alcohol, sexual health, pre-employability and confidence building.
- ‘Developing skills for work and life’ is aimed at developing self-confidence and the personal skills required to improve independence, social skills and expectations of the workplace
Our fully accredited training provision includes: ASDAN Employability, ASDAN Personal and Social Development, Customer Service, First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene
