Warrington LIFE training (formally Brighter Futures) delivers training to unemployed or inactive individuals aged 16+ across Warrington.

We offer flexible training designed around what you need.  One of our key strengths is how we can adapt our training for different groups and ages.

Our fully accredited training provision includes: ASDAN Employability, ASDAN Personal and Social Development, Customer Service, First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Hair and Beauty

We are also able to offer bespoke provision, at different levels, for a wide range of learner cohorts, throughout the year, for example:

  • ‘Building Confidence’ was designed for and delivered to young people  (16-24) with specific issues relating to anxiety or depression.
  • ‘Eat Well, Spend Less’ helps learners develop their knowledge about healthy eating, food hygiene, health and safety in the kitchen as well as encompassing living on a budget.
  • ‘Young Parents’ combines accredited and non-accredited learning and includes options of a L1 award in Customer Service and/or a Level 2 award in Food Safety while covering basic first aid, healthy relationships, mental health and wellbeing, life skills, budgeting, drugs and alcohol, sexual health, pre-employability and confidence building.
  • ‘Developing skills for work and life’ is a flexible course which allows for the delivery of a variable combination of accredited units tailored to any cohort. Aimed at developing self-confidence and the personal skills required to improve independence, social skills and expectations of the workplace.

We are funded to run these courses by People Plus and New Leaf. If you would like to learn more about these organisations, click on the logo’s below, which will take you to their websites.
